I spent 2 weeks filming in Uganda for the Association for the Bladder Exstrophy Community capturing the incredible challenges a rare birth defect has on a child, their family, and surrounding community…not to mention the fact most are living in abject poverty. I also saw the hope, light, and joy that A-BE-C is bringing those affected by bladder exstrophy by providing surgeries, community support, and most importantly love.
